We believe that everyone deserves to let their hair down and have some outdoor adventure fun, no matter their age. If you feel like it might be time for you to embark on your very own outdoor adventure, we have a number of excellent opportunities available across the UK that will make you feel like a kid again!
Whether you’re into bushcraft, canoeing or high ropes, we have it all! If you are in need of a little adventure inspiration, here are some of the best outdoor activities to delve into your inner child.
King Swing
Everyone has a fond memory or two of playing on the swings in a park as a child. King Swing at Frontier Centre is the best way to relive these memories in a more adult manner. This swing is like nothing that you would have come across in the playground!
This swing is 18m high and will send you soaring through the air at speeds up to 40mph! This certainly isn’t an activity for the faint-hearted and will take those beloved playground memories to a whole new level! Riding the King Swing requires a lot of trust and guts – it is an excellent activity to do with a group of friends.
Mission Impossible Rocket Launch
If your younger self had dreams of becoming a scientist, this could very well be the activity for you! Mission impossible rocket launch will have you sending your very own rocket into space (or at least as far as you can make it go!).
This activity requires you to work as a team and solve problems to build the best rocket and successfully complete the challenge. Mission impossible rocket launch is perfect for groups and makes the perfect team-building exercise. You will feel like you’re back in science class again!
Zip Wire
Another one that will take you back to your playground days. The Zip Wire is the perfect way to fly through the air at immense speeds whilst seeing the beautiful countryside.
Our Zip Wire at Whithaugh Park offers 300 metres of fun, giving you plenty of time to take in the amazing experience and enjoy yourself. This activity is for those adrenaline-seekers who enjoy the thrill of heights and speed! You will be grinning from ear to ear like a child on Christmas by the end of your speedy descent.
